Traditional Brittany design is truly inspiring in a back bar cabinet with hand carved figures and three dimensional scenes of village life from about 1900. Solid chestnut, the incredible three dimensional sculptures are full figured statues - true individual representations of the wedding couple and their relatives.
The finish is excellent, wrought iron hardware and working locks are original. Drawers are hand dovetailed, panels are raised - virtuoso workmanship is superior everywhere.
