A sleek and wavy Art Deco mantel clock from the late 1930's is signed "Vedette, Made in France."
The mahogany case is all original and very well preserved with minor mars at the edges for character. Bronze numerals form a dial on the case.
A brass movement keeps excellent time, running for a week on a winding. The familiar Westminster chime tune indicates each quarter hour and there is also a strike counting the hour.
This vintage clock measures 27 1/2" wide, 6" deep and 10" tall.
