Signed "Western Electric," this oak wall phone from around 1915 was later fitted as an AM radio. The finish is in excellent condition, brass mounts and bells are original on this American made antique.
The original mechanism was removed and a tube radio was installed inside and still works. Turned on by lifting the earpiece, a pilot light illuminates between the bells, turning the crank changes stations, and a knob above adjusts volume.
Measurements of this picturesque telephone are 23" tall, 12" wide and projects 15" from the wall.
