Signed "Library Bureau Sole Makers," this top quality four drawer filing cabinet was made for public libraries, donated by the Carnegie Foundation from around 1910.
The deep finish on quarter sawn oak is in excellent condition, sides and back are paneled and finished. Drawers have original bronze hardware and later locks and key. Removing the key locks the drawer, locks could be disabled if desired. Three drawers have original pushers, there are dividers as shown.
Legal size files up to 10" x 15" fit in these smooth ball bearing roller drawers on this American made antique office furniture. Size is 21" wide, 28" deep and 52 1/2" tall.
