Useful for drawing, architecture, art or as an island, this 1930's desk has an adjustable top and two compartments for drawings.
The old finish on birch hardwood is very well preserved with warm antique patina and some shrinkage separations from age, see photos.
Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain its warm glow is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth. The key in the drawer does not work, it is a handle only.
This American made furniture was used for drafting classes in Milwaukee. Stool height, size is 36 1/2" wide, 25" deep, the top can be flat or slope up from 38" to 42" at the back.
