Hand crafted of solid cherry in the late Sheraton period about 1825, this chest or dresser is a New England classic.
The old finish is very well preserved with warm patina and just enough mars and shrinkage separations for antique character. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and chamfered bottoms. Hand planing marks can be felt everywhere and square cut nail heads are visible on this historic furniture.
Dimensions are 42 1/2" wide, 20" deep and 41" tall.
