Patented "June 18, 1891," a pair of apothecary glass globes were hung in a drug store and filled with colored water as decorations. The cast brass and iron mounts are original.
Blown glass globes or urns are undamaged, they have a hole for filling with different colored water that was originally corked. The glass in the globes or vases is wavy on these picturesque American antiques.
Diameter is 11", length of the globe and hardware mounts is 21" and length including the triple chains is 34" total.
