A spectacular Gothic manner French hall stand with bench and mirror was hand carved in the 1880's. The artistic quality is stellar, with hand tooling by a master.
Solid oak with delicate piercing and authentic details, the original finish is very well preserved. Waxed and buffed, all that is needed to maintain the antique patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
The shaped and beveled mirror has a little smoke and losses to show its age. Elaborate hand wrought coat and hat hooks are also original. To the right and left are cane and umbrella holders, there is storage under the seat. The canopy is magnificent, removable for easier transport.
Measurements are 48" wide, 19" deep and 8' 9" tall, the seat is 21" high.
