Fireplace Hand Painted Antique Coal Caddy or Hod, Signed Jewett Pat. 1872

A picturesque hand painted Victorian fireplace coal caddy or hod is signed, "The Jewett Vase, Pat'd. Dec. 10, 1872."

Painting and gold trim are beautiful on this American made hearth accessory. There is a tin liner. Cast brass handles and feet are original on this tole ware antique. Size is 14" wide, 12" deep and 24" tall.
