A splendid Victorian church or theater organ from the 1890's is signed "Hinners of Pekin, Ill."
In remarkably fine playing condition, all notes work, the tone is resonant with a large variety of stops. Both great and swell knee pedals operate as well.
This antique musical instrument can be played with the usual foot pedals or an assistant can crank the side wheel for greater volume. The unusual triple bellows are restored, probably around twenty years ago, when the case was also refinished.
Solid oak, there is lots of quarter sawn grain. There are minor losses to the fretwork grill, see photos.
Dimensions are 57" wide excluding the crank, 29" deep and 48" tall.
