A classical statue of a harpist and her harp is from about 1870 during the Victorian period.
The patinated finish is in wonderful condition on this unsigned sculpture. The beautiful young woman is pausing from playing, and looks downward demurely. One of the winged griffin figure feet is repaired. This American made work of art was cast in "spelter," a white metal alloy similar to pewter.
Size is 8" wide, 6" deep and 18" tall.
