Hand carved of solid oak with gargoyle heads about 1900, this "Welsh Dresser" was also called a pewter cupboard. The top of the base is revarnished for durability, the rest of the fine old finish has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
There are a few stains for antique character on the shelves, see photos. Hardware is original on this picturesque furniture from Great Britain. Shelves have grooves to display plates.
Measurements are 54" wide, 19" deep, 74 1/2" tall and the base is 36 1/2" high.
