A pair of authentic American Empire hall console tables from the 1830's have drop leaves that connect to form a banquet dining table. The satiny finish is in excellent condition throughout, brass wheels are original.
Classical pedestals are well proportioned on this East Coast antique furniture, which can also be used as a pair of game tables. The tops are wide planks of solid figured mahogany with small warps from age, see photos.
Size in console position is 43" wide, 21" deep and 29" tall. Opened to a dining table, connected with "fork" hardware, size is 43" wide, 7' 2" long and legroom is 24" underneath.
