This double eight drawer filing cabinet is signed "Library Bureau," top quality furniture furnished to local libraries by the "Carnegie Foundation" about 1910.
Solid quarter sawn oak with paneled sides and back, the deep satiny finish is in excellent condition. Eight standard letter size drawers have original solid brass pulls and label holders, and move on original wooden slides. They are fitted with later hanging file racks that are removable.
For easier moving, this antique file unbolts to two separate pieces.
Measurements are 33" wide, 28" deep and 52" tall.
