Hand made in Germany during the Arts and Crafts period about 1900, this solid oak desk has a cylinder or barrel roll top.
The deep finish is in excellent condition on this European antique furniture with clean lines. Drawers have hand cut dovetail joints and original embossed brasses.
The pull out desktop is inlaid with saddle leather. Lower doors have keys as handles only, the locks do not work. The upper section is removable for easier moving.
Size is 48" wide, 32" deep and 56" tall. The knee opening is 14" wide and 28" tall and the pull out surface is 31" high and extends an additional 11" from the desk for comfortable writing.
