A spectacular solid quarter sawn oak round dining table from about 1900 has eight 12" wide leaves with matching skirts or aprons, and is signed "D. N. Bonner."
The pedestal base has carved ball and claw feet, and "splits" when opened, revealing a hidden center leg for extra support. Leaves match and fit well, this historic table opens and closes smoothly. There is a slight warp from age to a couple of the leaves, see photos. The rich deep finish is in excellent condition on this American made antique furniture.
Measurements are 54" diameter, 29" tall, legroom is 25" and with all 8 leaves in place, length is 12' 6" overall.
