A spectacular 54" square Empire dining table from about 1900 has two carved lion paw pedestals and extends to almost 13' long.
Refinished and restored, the gleaming solid figured mahogany top has six 15" wide leaves with matching aprons or skirts. American made furniture, the base is matched flame grain mahogany with deeply sculpted acanthus and paw foot hand carving in solid mahogany. Pedestals have shaped oval columns. Original slides open and close smoothly on this historic antique.
Measurements are 54" square when closed, 30 1/2" tall and legroom is 25 1/2" underneath, with all six leaves in place, length is just under 13.'
