Oak Country French Cabinet w Display & Desk

    This casual yet elegant cabinet is made of fine grained oak with a graceful arched top. There is a large area to the left which appears to have been a closet, you can see where there was once a closet pull. To the right there is a desk, a large storage cabinet with a shelf below, and a display cabinet with sliding glass doors. One of the sliding glass doors has a small chip that you cannot see when the doors are closed.

The original finish is in extremely fine condition in a warm medium brown finish. It has bolts that allow this piece to disassemble if it has to go up a flight of stairs. The drop front desk is supported on nickel plated braces and a piano hinge inside. This piece was built about 1920 in France, and has subtle carving and warm color. It is 49" wide, 23" deep, and 6' 1/2" tall. Y-S1184 This item has sold.
