A Victorian library bookcase or display cabinet was hand carved of solid walnut in the 1860's. The restored lustrous finish is in excellent condition with a few mars at the edges for a little antique character, see photos.
Doors have a working lock and key, inside are shelves that adjust on wooden supports. Three panes of wavy glass appear original, one is old but later. The arched crown and delicate moldings are beautiful on this American made library furniture.
Measurements are 51" wide at the crown, 17" deep and 7' 6 1/2" tall.
