An English Arts and Crafts period 1910 era sideboard or server with china cabinets could also be a back bar.
Solid fine grained oak has delicate inlay of mother of pearl, mahogany and ebony. The original finish is very well preserved and has been waxed and buffed, so all that is needed to maintain its warm patina is an occasional wipe with a soft dry cloth.
All original glass panes are beveled, the beveled mirror has silvering losses to show its age, see photos. Embossed rosy brass hardware is original, there are keys only for the upper and lower pairs of doors. Side compartment shelves are adjustable on wooden supports.
The original brass clock dial has been fitted with a modern quartz battery movement on this splendid antique furniture.
Measurements are 64 1/2" wide tip to tip at the crown, 20" deep and 79" tall.
