Set of 6 1900's Oak & Leather Dining Chairs

These 6 matching antique dining chairs are solid quarter-sawn oak with original leather seats from about 1900. They are totally solid and usable furniture, the finish is excellent in a rich, deep brown. Curved backs make them quite comfortable, and size is 18" wide, 17" deep, 37" tall, and the seats are 19" high. see similar items

Italian Antique Carved Chest or Dresser, Marble Top

Hand-carved of solid walnut about 1910 in northern Italy, this impressive three drawer linen chest or dresser has a black marble top. The original satin finish is superb, accenting the carved raised panels, a design traditional in the area around Milan. Hand-dovetailed drawers have their original brasses, and the shaped marble top has beautiful grain and is undamaged. Dimensions are 50" wide, 21" deep and almost 38" tall.  (added October 12th, 2008)

This Victorian armoire or wardrobe has 2 arched mirror doors and its original finish from about 1890. Glowing medium toned mahogany has wonderful warm patina and lots of character - mars and stains from over a century of use. Inside is a large drawer with hand-dovetailed joints, later closet poles and slots where shelves could be inserted if desired. This antique furniture disassembles for easier moving, and measures 5'2" wide, 26" deep and 6'4" tall, the interior is 21" deep.  (added October 12th, 2008)

Lavishly designed and hand crafted this stunning dining, library or console table came from a palazzo near Turin in northern Italy. Intricate inlay or intarsia work incorporates mahogany, burl walnut and fruitwood, with hand-carved detailing. Subtle curves and meticulous workmanship add grandeur to this opulent antique furniture from the 1920's. This artistic table is in wonderful condition. The satin finish is excellent, with the natural irregularities characteristic of burl wood. There are large drawers at both ends, and dimensions are 6'10" long, 38" wide, 31" tall.....  (added October 12th, 2008)

This stunning and lavishly designed sideboard or credenza has beautiful hand crafted marquetry. It is from a palazzo near Turin in northern Italy. Intricate inlay or intarsia work incorporates mahogany, burl walnut and fruitwood, with hand-carved detailing. Subtle curves and meticulous workmanship add grandeur to this opulent antique furniture from the 1920's. This exclusive cabinet is in wonderful condition. The satin finish is excellent, with the natural irregularities characteristic of burl wood. Measurements are 8'8" long, 22" deep and 39 1/2" tall.  (added October 12th, 2008)
