Thai Temple Wood Sculpture of Buddha Reclining

This sculpture is carved by hand and hand painted, this depiction of Buddha in a reclining position has worn painting and fine detail. There is a lingering scent of smoke from incense or temple fires. Dimensions are 4' long, 2' tall and 1' deep. This is a very peaceful statue, with a restful and graceful depiction. Carved in Thailand, the sculpture has an ancient and worn look, but is probably fairly recent. This is a beautiful and subtle work of art.
