Entirely hand made in New England about 1820, this cherrywood dresser has hand dovetailed drawers with matched cherry burl drawer fronts. Rope twist or spiral columns and feet are especially beautiful. The design is honest and simple with excellent workmanship. The satiny finish in a reddish-brown is excellent, and there are beautiful wide boards of solid cherry. Everything is solid and the drawers fit well and slide smoothly. Size is 45 1/2" wide, 24" deep and 48" tall. This chest has enormous storage and nice proportions.
