Wonderfully made by master cabinetmakers, this walnut cupboard has glass doors above and an open center for display or serving. It dates from about 1890, and is handmade with decorative burl panels and heavy brass pulls.
The original finish is a rich medium brown color with great patina and warmth. Doors are a full 1 1/4" thick, drawers have hand dovetailed oak sides, and the interior is oak. There are two adjustable oak shelves above, and one in the bottom.
This piece comes apart for transport and has a great architectural presence. Deep moldings give this cabinet wonderful scale, and there is loads of storage and display. Size is 58" wide, 23" deep and 8'3" tall. J-C2688 This item has sold.
