This pine armoire was hand made by a Swedish immigrant carpenter in the the 1880's. It is probably from northern Minnesota. The beautiful hand dove tails on the drawers and inside shelves show true craftsmanship and very solid construction. There are square nails on the back that prove this authentic country antique furniture dates from the late 1800's. The finish is in excellent condition in a wonderful warm golden pine color. Traditional folk carved details lend this piece great charm. This armoire measures 55" wide, 25" deep, 78" tall, and the inside is 19" deep.
