Made of solid quarter sawn oak about 1900, this dining set includes 8 chairs, a round 54" diameter dining table that extends to 8' long, plus a server. All pieces are completely solid, and have a wonderful honey golden finish in excellent condition.
The turn of the century design includes subtle details and thoughtful moldings.
The table has four almost 11" leaves that match and fit very well. Height is 30" and there is 25 1/2" of legroom underneath. Six side chairs and 2 armchairs have been newly upholstered in soft sage green. Side chairs are 19" wide, 20" deep and 38" tall, and the armchairs are 24" wide, 21" deep and 41" tall. The server has original brasses on the dovetailed drawer. Size is 40" wide, 20" deep, 40" tall, and the top is 35" above the floor. This set is antique furniture of understated elegance and beauty.
