This understated oak tall case or grandfather clock has a rich deep finish, and dates from about 1910. The brass dial, pendulum, and weights are all original. Glass over the dial is convex, and the oval window below is beveled.
The chain-wound movement runs perfectly, and the double chime on the hour and single chime on the half hour is deep and resonant. The lustrous oak finish is original, cleaned, and polished. There are tiny shrinkage cracks at the top of the door, see photo. Dimensions are 21" wide, 12" deep and 6'6" tall. R-C2850
