Art Deco Oak 1930's Library Set, Desk and Bookcase

    Historic Art Deco design and carving are skillfully shown in this oak library set. There is an executive desk and matching large bookcase with sliding glass doors. Fine grained quarter sawn oak has an excellent satiny finish. The high relief hand carving incorporates figural heads and scrolled motifs in the artistry of the 1930's period.

The desk has doors opening on the front, perhaps for use as a "partner's desk." Dimensions are 5 1/2' long, 32" wide and almost 31" tall, the kneehole is 24" wide and 24 1/2" tall. The spectacular bookcase has three banks of adjustable shelves and 4 sliding glass doors, and is 2 pieces for easier handling. Size is 7'5" wide, 16" deep and 7' tall. Chair is not included. S-D1584
