Empire Mahogany Sewing or Needlework Table 1830s

Empire design with a carved acanthus leaf pedestal shows that this sewing stand or needle work table dates from the 1830's.
The gorgeous top is matched flame grain mahogany, and inside are compartments and a flip up pincushion, accessible by the hand dove tailed drawer or by raising the lid.
The rich and gleaming finish is superb on this authentic example of antique furniture. Minor repair has been done to one hinge area, see photo. 21 1/2" wide, 17" deep, 29" tall.
