This wonderful sideboard in solid cherry and matched flame grain mahogany was made about 1820. Clean and simple lines contrast beautifully with carved paw feet, reflecting the artistry of the American Empire period. Entirely hand made with tiny hand cut dovetails, hand chamfered drawer bottoms and back panels.
This authentic antique furniture is in premier condition with a satiny finish that is excellent. The "chimney pot" backsplash recalls the New England homes of the same era, with a chimney at both ends. Size is 5'2" long, 25" deep, 55" tall and the top is 44" above the floor.
