This original painting on silk depicts a scholar and student, and is said to be Chinese from the 1800's. There appear to be "wrinkles" in the silk, we have not opened the very nice shadow box style custom frame that is about 40 years old. The soft tones are very lovely. Overall size is 20 1/2" wide, 32" tall, and 1" thick.
