Victorian Carved Walnut Hall Mirror, Umbrella Stand
—
$875.00 —
|
This imposing Victorian Hall mirror has hand carved lion heads, an umbrella stand and old brass coat hooks. The original finish on this striking antique furniture has been polished to a warm glow. A railing held canes and umbrellas, so popular in the 1890's when this mirror was new, and the base has a tin pan to catch umbrella drips.
There are repaired holes from earlier hooks (see photos), but the solid brass hooks on this piece certainly date from the same era. There are lion heads left and right, and only minor flaws to the beveled mirror. Size is 4'5" wide, 8" deep and 6'7" tall. T-H380
