This authentic 18th Century Dutch Kas or armoire was hand made of pine, and the lavish hand painting dates from the early 1800's. The original iron hardware from the 1700's secures this antique furniture, which disassembles for moving. There are shrinkage separations in the panels, and minor touchups to the fine hand painting with intricate gold work.
Very solid and substantial, this armoire has shelves inside, and the doors fit well. The intricate painting in subtle tones evokes the artistry of bygone centuries. Deep moldings enhance the overall design of this beautiful armoire. Dimensions are 64" wide, 32" deep and 7'10" tall. With the doors open it is 110" wide, and it is 53" wide inside.
