This brilliant coffee table has a richly grained 2" thick Rosso Levanto marble top from the famous Italian quarry. For thousands of years this quarry has been producing beautiful marble, especially prized by Romans. In the midwest, it is noteworthy on the floors and walls at the Merchandise Mart in Chicago.

The base is a burnished brass cylinder, welded to an iron top. We see only one very minor chip on the edge of the marble - see photo. This vintage coffee table is about 25 years old, and the design is timeless. Dimensions are 42" square and just over 16" tall.
