Elegant Country French or Provincial design is exemplified in this matching queen size bed and marble top bedside table. Made of solid oak with hand carved motifs and gentle curves, the original finish is satiny and in excellent condition. The bed has been adapted with modern steel rails to fit standard queen size bedding, the original odd-size carved oak rails are included. Antique furniture from about 1900, the nightstand is finished on all sides, the marble is beautifully grained, there is a small chip under the corner. The headboard measures 59" wide and 61" tall, the footboard is 59" wide, 38 1/2" tall and both are 2" thick. The matching nightstand is 16" square and 33" tall. V-B1981
