Simply magnificent describes this lovely dining set in the Georgian or Chippendale style. The stately 14' table has a shimmering matched center of flame grained mahogany, framed by an opulent border of rosewood, tulipwood, ebony and satinwood. Two large "birdcage" pedestals have brass feet. Three 24" leaves match perfectly and are skirted to match the table. Measurements are 30" tall with over 26" of legroom underneath, 4' wide, and 8' long when closed. With all leaves in place, total length is 14.'
Fourteen Chippendale style chairs are all hand carved of solid mahogany, nuetral color padded seats are 21" tall, and can be easily recovered to match any dining room decor. Two armchairs measure 25" wide, 24" deep and 41" tall, the 12 side chairs are 23" wide, 24" deep and 41" tall.
This dining set, table and chairs, are a modern reproduction or replica of 18th Century Georgian or Federal Period furniture.
