Custom made in cherry about 40 years ago, this 11' long library or bookcase has antique leather book bindings covering a center compartment. This cabinet is wonderful for a bar, TV or computer monitor. Marvelous construction details include arched raised panel doors, pullout shelves with gold tooled leather, beveled glass, adjustable bookshelves, and subtle carved details. Drawers are dovetailed and finished inside.
The warm natural cherry finish is nearly flawless, with only the slightest wear. No expense was spared in the creation of this fabulous vintage library wall. The upper section of this understated but prestigious furniture separates for moving.
Elliptical or "eyebrow" shaped arches and harmonious proportions enhance this masterpiece of cabinetmaker's art. The interior is oak, and embossed brasses are original. Measurements are 11'3" long, 25" deep, and 7'5" tall.
