The spectacular quality of signed "Baker" executive furniture is evident everywhere on this mahogany and leather topped L shaped or corner desk with a right hand return. Top quality vintage furniture from about 25 years ago, both sections are in wonderful condition. Drawers have solid oak dovetailed sides, heavyweight brasses are all original, and there are engraved brass "Baker" and "Collector Edition" plates in the drawer.
The gleaming finish is very good, there are only minor mars at the edges plus slight wear to the tooled leather tops. There is a slide out support for a computer keyboard that could be fitted with a shelf if desired.
Everything fits beautifully and is totally functional. There is a pullout writing shelf. The desk measures 6' long, 3' deep and 30" tall, it has a kneehole 24" tall, the return is 5'4" long and 20" deep. Two sections attach securely together with hardware.
