Breakfront 4 Door Mahogany China Cabinet or Bookcase

    Entirely original, this mahogany breakfront china cabinet or bookcase has banding around the drawers and lower doors. Inside are shelves with plate grooves, and doors in the separate upper section have convex or "bubble" glass panes.

Traditional Georgian or Federal design includes a velvet lined silver drawer with removable dividers. The original deep brown finish is very good, there is slight crackling and mars at the edges, see photos. Signed by prominent maker, "Metz," this is vintage furniture from about 50 years ago. Measurements are 5'1" wide, 16" deep and 6 1/2' tall. W-B2004 This item has sold.
