This magnificent 10 piece Renaissance design dining set reflects the opulence of the 1920's. All pieces have deeply carved walnut with burl panels, paw feet and majestic historic detailing.
The set includes a table with 4 leaves, 6 newly upholstered chairs, china cabinet, sideboard or buffet, and a hunt board. The finish is excellent everywhere, each piece is completely solid and ready for many more generations of enjoyment. The hammered brass hardware is original, and there is signature "Union Furniture, Rockford, Il."
Recalling the grand heritage of a bygone era, this set has wonderful proportions for a larger dining room.
The table measures 44" wide, 30" tall with over 25" of legroom, and is 5'10" long when closed. There are 4 leaves, one with a matching skirt, that extend the table to a generous 9' 7." The six tall chairs have been newly padded and upholstered, the 2 armchairs measure 24" wide, 27" deep and 50" tall, the 4 side chairs are 21" wide, 24" deep and 48" tall. Inside the long sideboard or buffet is a removable silverware tray. Size is 6 1/2' long, 23" deep and 37 1/2" tall. The china cabinet has shelves inside with plate grooves and is 45" wide, 18" deep and 6' tall. A small hunt board, traditionally used to serve a cold buffet of cheeses and smoked meats after hunting, measures 44" wide, 19" deep and 34" tall. W-T5560
