    A group of 4 similar handmade Windsor armchairs date from the 1860's. Entirely hand carved of ash, oak, maple and chestnut, these country chairs have shaped seats, angled backs, and are very comfortable. Each chair is solid and substantial, very usable antique furniture.

The warm patina is wonderful, with golden color and clear natural woodgrain. Size of the tallest is 20" wide, 25" deep and 42" tall, the other 3 are about 20" wide, 20" deep and 36" tall, seats are about 18" high. X-C1039 This item has sold.
