Elegant Victorian lines distinguish this walnut armoire with an arched mirror door and "secret" drawer in the base. The inside has wooden corner hangers for long-gone shelves, which could be replaced if desired.
The rich and gleaming original finish is remarkably good for an antique from about 1880, with minor mars and wear at the edges. Note mars and minor shrinkage separations - see photos. There is a little smoke and shading in the original plate glass mirror. Drawers are hand dovetailed, and deep ebonized moldings add interest.
This sturdy, multipurpose furniture can be disassembled for moving, and measurements are 42" wide, 18" deep and almost 7" tall.
