This wonderful, simple Yankee one-drawer table was made entirely of solid birdseye maple about 1840. The original finish is crazed and worn, and has gorgeous shimmering patina in a warm golden color.
Constructed with square nails, expert New England country furniture craftsmanship shows in the hand cut dovetailed drawer with a chamfered bottom.
This antique table is a rarity because of the solid birdseye grain maple with no veneer, and the beautiful old finish. See mars and stains to the top, also two legs have repairs that are solid and usable. Size is 20" wide, 19" deep and 28 1/2" tall.
