The sweeping and dramatic lines of Empire styling are spectacular in this bedroom set, including a wide dresser, tall chest, and a pair of twin or single size "sleigh" beds. Shimmering ribbon grain mahogany on all pieces has an excellent finish in wonderful condition.
This genuine antique furniture from about 1900 has gentle curves and loads of storage, everything fits well and is completely solid and sturdy, ready to use.
The pair of sleigh beds have carved paw feet at both the head and foot ends, and have been adapted with steel rails to fit standard twin or single mattresses. Size of the headboards is 4' tall, 45" wide and 7" deep with the curved "sleigh" design, footboards are 37" tall.
The chest and dresser have large dovetailed drawers, and there are matching plugs to the rear of the top where mirrors might have once been mounted. Measurements of the tall chest are 39" wide, 24" deep and 47" tall, the dresser is 5' wide, 26" deep and 34" tall. Beds are priced separately at $1675 Y-B2046. The two dressers are $1575 Y-D1678
