All original, this is a stunning pair of oak stacking lawyer's bookcases with 5 sections each, the top sections have hand leaded and beveled panes.
Signed "Gunn," this antique pair of American bookcases includes separate base and top modules, the brass knobs are also original. The original dark brown finish has been cleaned and is in wonderful condition for their age with just a little crazing. There are mars from sliding books in and out, and just enough wear at the edges to show their history, this furniture was made in the very early 1900's.
Each of these functional pieces measures 34" wide, 14" deep and 6'3" tall. The sections accommodate books up to 9" wide and 11 1/2" tall.
