With a black and white marble top, this Victorian carved cabinet could serve myriad functions - as a bar, sideboard, hall console or as a vanity cabinet for a vessel sink.
A genuine antique from about 1890, the richly carved base is walnut with deep moldings. Refined and sophisticated furniture, the polished deep brown finish is excellent. Drawers have solid oak sides with hand-cut dovetails. The beautifully grained marble has minor touchups and a nice drip-catching groove around the front edge.
