Victorian Marble-Top Carved Chest or Dresser

    Hand made of solid walnut about 1870, this chest or dresser has a marble top and "secret" drawer in the base. Original pulls are hand carved, and there are elegant "racetrack" moldings on the fronts of the hand dovetailed drawers.

Antique Victorian furniture for many uses - a vessel sink vanity, linen chest, server or bar - the finish is very fine with luscious warm color. The marble appears original, and in very fine condition with a beautiful "ogee" edge.

Size is 44" wide, 19" deep, and 31" tall including the original brass wheels. A- D1688
