    This miniature mantel or wall shelf is rather mysterious in purpose. Hand carved of pine about 1890 during the American Victorian period, this antique does not appear to have been altered or remodeled.

Perhaps a miniature sample of a mantel, this charming and picturesque piece awaits an inspired use. Size is 34" wide, 10" deep and 49" tall.
