This classic American Victorian solid oak roll top desk has an "S" shaped roll.
Inside are small compartments, 2 tiny drawers, pencil and letter holders. Paneled on all sides, the golden brown finish is excellent. There are 2 pullout writing shelves, a drop-front door with small file drawers inside plus a large file drawer.
Authentic antique furniture from about 1895, this desk was originally used in an Upper Michigan store. Size is 54" wide, 30" deep and 49" tall, the writing surface is 31" above the floor, and the kneehole is 23" wide and almost 26" high. A-D1696 This item has sold.
