A lovely carved oak authentic French Country dining set includes a table with 2 pull-out leaves and 6 rush-seat chairs. The medium brown finish is excellent, and enhances the parquet top. Subtle hand-carved detailing is elegant, but still relaxed and "Provincial" in feeling.
All chairs and the table are solid and sturdy enough for daily use. Fine vintage furniture from about 1925, the carved rope edging is striking. The self storing leaves pull easily into position, and are firmly supported. Rustic hand-woven rush seats are comfortable and easily removed to clean.
The curved backs of the chairs are graceful, and size is 18" wide, 18" deep, 39" tall, and seats are 18" high.
Table measurements are 41" wide, 30" tall and 58" long closed, with both leaves extended length is 80," and legroom is 23" or more. B-T5703 This item has sold.
